Merry Christmas dad! I know you will be done here with us today, watching us open our presents. It will not ever be the same without you. Christmas is such a lovely family time, but I have a great massive whole missing in my family without you here. Just a few months ago, my biggest fear was for us all to be eating our Christmas dinner at the table while you sat on the sofa because you could have any. I never even contemplated that you wouldn't even be here to share the day with us. It's going to be heart breaking to no see you sitting on the sofa, pass you the presents we bought or pull a cracker with you at dinner. Those are the days that I cherish so much.
